Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

This is a photograph of a food and beer storefront, located on the boardwalk in Seaside Heights, NJ. It was taken just a few weeks before Hurricane Sandy decimated the coastline and destroyed the iconic amusement parks and stores that lined the boardwalk.
Chanel Fernandez is a budding artist whose media include photography, graphite drawings, fashion, poetry, and writing. Born and raised on the southern New Jersey shore, Chanel spent a few years of her childhood in Argentina, but returned home with her family. She embraced her love of writing, drawing, and music at the beginning of adolescence, competing in multiple state-wide competitions during her high school years and has not turned back since. Chanel was a 2010 graduate of Rutgers University where she majored in English and continues to hone her crafts by being regularly involved in continuing education and trying her hand in new art forms.
